Brenda. I feel I have to jump in here. I really think you are bloweing this
way out of proportion. I will start by saying that I do agree with you about
PDI or humanware's tech support. They really need to do this in a more timely
manner. I also have called numerous times and waited on hold for nothing, but
as far as the upgrade, I just downloaded 47 messages twice. The first time was
just to see if I could do it. I read your message, but had erased everything. I
downloaded it again just because I wanted to reply to your message.
First of all, you don't need to format a flash card. There should be no reason
that you should format one. They come already formatted. Regarding email, well,
I just downloaded 47 messages twice just so I could reply to you. Obviously,
email isn't broken beyond repair. Sometimes, it might take more than once, but
is that with everyone or just five or six of us on this list?
I downloaded 272 messages the other day. If I wasn't with SBC, would I have the
same problems? who knows.
By the way, I am sitting here in my recliner listening to blind justice
emailing this to you wirelessly. No problems at all.
Yes. PDI had better come up with a patch ASAP. Yes. Their tech support sucks
big time as far as getting a timely answer. But try to keep things in
perspective.
The upgrade isn't that bad. And why would you want to format a flash card
anyway? Well, I better send this to the list wirelessly. The commercials are
almost over and we will see what is going on blind justice. By the way, My area
has no audio description. Now there's something to get upset about<grin>.
