Hi list and PDI staff,
I have had my Braille Note QT for three months now, and I am
starting to get a strange error message. When I turn the unit on it says
"cannot run this version of Keysoft", when I press a key it makes a funny
noise and then shuts down completely. The only way I can get it to come
back is to press the reset button. Unfortunately, this process has been
repeating itself several times now. I am currently running Keysoft version
5.1 build 19. Has anyone had an issue like this with this version before?
Will I have to reinstall Keysoft completely or is there a software patch
available to fix this problem?
I also was wondering if you have to have a software maintenance
agreement in order to log on to the software downloads site? If not, how
does one acquire a password to log on? The reason I ask is because I would
suspect that this is where small patches would be found. If I wanted to go
from build 19 to the build 22 that I've been reading about, would I have to
have a maintenance agreement?
