cause your Magellan probably crashed. Mine did. I looked up the unit on the internet and its no longer made, it only received 2 or 3 stars from users and got bad reviews. They don't even use it now. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Margaret Bateman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, March 09, 2005 1:17 AM Subject: [Braillenote] GPS and satellites question
Hi: I've got a Magellen GPS, running version 3 on a Braillenote BT32 running keysoft 5.1. When we start up the GPS, it says, "getting fix," but it no longer announces the number of satellites. The GPS still works and will still locate points of interest and generate routes, but why won't it tell us how many satellites are available? It used to always announce "good, 6 satellites" or some similar message.
