Another thing, if the security people ask you if your BN is a laptop, tell them
"no". Laptops are routinely required to be x-rayed, but the BN doesn't fall
into this category. Jeff is right about the dog thing, I have been asked about
a million times if my dog would "mind" being wanded or if she bites, and only
twice have I even been asked what my BN is. Good luck!

Subject: [Braillenote] FLYING WITH THE BN

Hi, List!

I am going back to Leader Dogs for my fifth dog on the 24th of this month. I
will be carrying my BNQT and other special equipment on board the airplane and
just wanted to know what to do at the security station. Do I allow them to scan
this equipment, or, do I not? If not, then what happens, or what should I do?
The other equipment is a color tester and a talking glucometer.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
