Dear List,

In a previous message it was said: There is no way to make the BrailleNote take
an existing HTML page and save it as plain text suitable for reading and/or
editing in KeyWord or KeyBook.

However, luckily there is a way to do so, provided that you are on the actual
text of the html document and not only on its link.

Go to the top of the web page. Then enter the block commands menu.
If you have a bt you would only be able to do that with chord b if
compatibility mode, second option under miscelaneous options from within the
utilities menu has been turned off, which you should do, to enable block
functions in keyweb, because the alternative block command (dots 23 with enter)
overlaps with a command in keyweb and you'll get an error tone when trying to
use that if compatibility mode is on.:

Then, from within the block commands menu press t to mark the top of the page.
Then go to the bottom of the page with chord 456 and re-enter the block
commands menu where you press b to mark the bottom of the page. Then press s
to store the block and enter your prefered drive, folder and file name in the
usual manner. The contents of the web page will then be saved as text format
without the html codes.

Alternatively, you can choose to copy your selected block to the clip board, if
you actually want to insert as part of another existing file, but don't want to
go offline yet. The document is copied to clip board also without html codes.

Regards
Riana
