Give them a call first--they need to know the unit is coming in. They will give you an RMA--you'll want to put that in the box. Me, I am so paranoid I put it inside and outside. :) I usually print out a short statement stating the problem and put that in with the unit as well.
Once you have done that *then* you can send it.
