Hi list, someone was asking about Bluetooth and ActiveSync but as I was getting ready for work when I received the email, I wasn't able to respond then and there and now I'm at work, I obviously don't have the original email regarding this.
Bluetooth certainly can be used for Activesync purposes on the PK. the reason you may not be able to see an Activesync service is that the Bluetooth software with your USB adapter may not support this functionality in which case, an Activesync service won't be exposed. The USB adapter I purchased here in New Zealand certainly supports this service and is also the same one that we use for internal testing here at PDI. However, I would have thought that most Pc Bluetooth adapters would support this service. Check that all the services are actually making themselves available by reviewing the various options in the software. Perhaps a PK user in the US could also comment on what type of Bluetooth adapter they are using if they have established an Activesync connection in this manner as the adapter I have here is purchased from and manufactured by Dick Smith Electronics, a company in New Zealand and Australia.
