The PREVIOUS and NEXT thumb keys can be made to move by paragraph via the Options Menu>Braille Display Options. Hit FUNCTION with O, then B from within the hymnal, DOWN ARROW to the item which says "Function of PREVIOUS and NEXT Thumb Keys?", and hit P for "Paragraph". The PREVIOUS and NEXT thumb keys will now move by paragraph, and to set them back to the default, repeat the above, but instead of pressing P for "Paragraph", you would press U for "Up and Down", which is the default, but you could also choose to have them move by sentence by pressing S (in the other two reading modes (Line and Column), having this option set to Sentence would move by Line and having it set to Paragraph would move by Section).
