Why should it be held on to if it's already burnt in? Couldn't it be put to better use after it has been burnt into rom?

Hi Tina, your best bet would be to hold onto your 6.1 compact flash card
and keep it stored in a safe place. But remember, this version of KeySoft
is going to be burned into ROM, so the chance of anything happening to it
are extremely remote because you can't erase it.
