Hello Jane and others, Thank you for letting me know about that checkbox. I was aware of it though, as I had read about it in the manual. As soon as I had set up the active sync program, I went and unchecked this box. However, after reading your message I went and looked, and it was checked again. So again I unchecked it.
I tried again to transfer a word document, one that I had first tried to move. This time it did move without any problems. However, now when I try to open it I'm getting a rather odd message. I'm going to write this exactly as I see it. I'm actually viewing it right now, so I won't leave anything important out, that might help me in figuring out what could be going wrong. The message is: The process can't access the file because it is being used by another process. I do not understand why I cant just get a file to open normally. Actually I cant say that nothing has opened right. I transfered a book the other day, and I didn't have any problems with it. Anymore thoughts on this situation will be appreciated. Terri
