Anita, I hope it does work out well for you! <smile> You wrote an excellent letter but in addition to that, I would take Marianne's advice and explain why a Brailler would not fit your needs given your CP.
Above all, don't give up! When I requested a BrailleNote from my state VR office, I wrote a letter explaining how it would allow me to continue my educational and employment pursuits. My counselor put up a fuss initially, but once she saw how much the BrailleNote helped me, she was more than happy to approve the purchase. Even after 4 years of having my BN, she's *still* in awe as to everything it can do!! I only have one more semester before I receive my Bachelor's degree in Social Work but one thing is for sure...my BrailleNote has been a wonderful (and essential) asset to me during the past 4 years. If you have any additional questions about VR, etc. or what else you can include in your letter, please feel free to write me privately.
