Hi there,
with my cell phone I switch bluetooth on and then go to let other devices
see my phone.
now on the pk I switch bluetooth on and search for bluetooth devices. the
pk finds my nokia 7610
I then look at the phone services offered to the pk and use active sync
if you pair active sync then on the phone it will beep.
now you must put in the same code on the phone and press the circle and you
will be paired.
now you can use your phone as a modem and do your email and surf the net so
really no use for the cell phone on the menu.
I agree that humanware have got a grate device with the pk
and await the upgrades with interest.
the only thing I cannot do is connect my pk to the pc via my bluetooth adapter
but I can pair them but I cannot acquire active sync to find the soft
serial port.
this is because I cannot access the connection tray in the sys tray I think
I will need sighted help to do this.
I wish we could use other bluetooth gps receivers but when I look back four
years ago and look at the strides made by humanware for us it's is truly grate.
tomorrow I will be tuning in Sheffield and with the pk and gps what a
difference it makes
the thing next is the blue tooth connection to the guide dog so she could
go and tune some pianos as well.
I think Jonathan said that soon the 6.2 upgrade is to be out soon for the
pk so it will be very nice to see what it brings.
I wonder if keysoft will let us do streaming from the net in the near future?
thanks.
