Deon,

I don't think Active Sync is going to help you with this one. I think there are different levels of compression that can be used when creating an MP3 file and these result in different qualities of sound. It sounds like the sampling rate used to create this file might not be supported by the Braille note. It might be possible to convert the file to a different sampling rate that the Braillenote could handle.

Subject: [Braillenote] Sample rate unsupported

Hi all, downloaded some MP3 books from:

http://www.free-books.org

but get the message:

Media file can not be played: Sample rate is unsupported.
from BrailleNote

The book is
A History of Science Volume 1

Chapter 1.

I copied and pasted it into a folder on the PCMCIA card and tried playing it.

Have I got to go the tediously slow way of ActiveSync?

Thanks

Deon
