HI all./
I have successfully networked my BN so that it will surf the net, by way of
my pc and ADSL connection. However, I cannot get the standard activesync
functions to operate. Activesync believes that the BN is connected,
although I have to manually invoke it so I know that in every respect the
supplied network card is working as it should. Looks like a software clash
somewhere. I have a partnership established according to Activesync, but
the standard layout of Activesync folders and files within the BN is not
present. It was hard enough getting the internet side of the connection to
work, so I don't want to undo what has been successful so far but any
suggestions that I can follow to manually get the whole setup working
properly would be gratefully appreciated.
My specifications are: Windows SP home running Service Pack
Two. Activesync v3.7, and BrailleNote v5.1 build 22. The BN's mother
board is the new release and the supplied network card from Pulsedata has
all cables well connected. The ADSL modem is an internal card rather than
connected through a router. I'm sure the problem is easily solved if
someone knows the secret.
