Hi Everyone, I'm looking for some technical information regarding BrailleNote's database. I had a look in the bn QT manual on how to create your own database but as usual there is really no technical information on the format of the database. I'd like to make my own database and I'd like to know for example why each line has to have a series of numbers at the beginning of the line and what each of these numbers mean. It's ok to say in the manual that these numbers are used to order the fields but how? Why for example has the line 14854, name autocap, "First name" got 14854 at the beginning and what exactly does 14854 mean in the scheme of the database? I understand I can follow the steps in the bn help to create a modification of the address list database, but I want to do more than that. If anyone has any technical documentation for the Braillenote database, I'd love to hear from you. Better still if a staff member from Pulse Data or is it Humanware, could fill me in on the technical information regarding the database I'd really appreciate it.
