Hey, guys, I finally had success in connecting. I had to create a new connections and put in exactly what the old ones had, so for some reason the old ones must have gotten corrupted in the upgrade. I figured this out by creating a new connection with a different name and the same information, finding out that it worked, then deleting the old one. Now I'm wondering if I should just go ahead and delete all the old connections, which were just there as part of the old directory of services, since basically I was just using my Earthlink account to check the different email boxes. I mean if the boxes are set up in the email directory thing, there's really no need to keep the connections thing with the mailbox names in the connection configuration is there? I can just connect via Earthlink or my Cellphone connection, then choose the appropriate mailbox, right? I'm almost scared to touch anything, lest I break something again. <grin>

Anyway, I'm pretty relieved here. Just thought I'd share the good news. Thanks, Don, for your encouragement.

Peggy
