I have Jaws 6.1 so could use help. Your explanation kind of threw me, but thanks anyway. *grin* ----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Bishop" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, April 25, 2005 6:44 PM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] question about using the BN as a desplay
Hi, Actually the keys such as the thumb keys are really defined by the program driving the display such as window eyes or jfw. Generally the keys used in other applications as advance and back areally become the next and previous keys respectively. The next and previous keys you are used to in other applications become the advance and back keys. If you don't like that arrangement, you can go into the appropriate menu of the screen reader you're using and change those assignments. I changed mine here in window eyes to conform to the key assignments I use in other applications on the braillenote. I can't speak for jfw as I'm not as familiar with that, but key assignments are very easy to change and/or create in windoweyes and it's a great feature.
