Or as an option, make the battery replaceable, as it is on almost all other
devices.  Then we could carry a second  charged battery and just pop it in
when the first runs low.  This is what I have been doing for years with my
laptops.  And yes, I know I am reawakening the battery replacement
controversy.

Hello PDI!
Having just returned from 2 9 hour plane trips where no standard outlets
were available and on one of those trips my Bn had about 15 minutes of
battery power due to my neglegence, wouldn't it be a good idea for you folks
to start thinking about manufacturing an airplane adapter like those made
for laptops?
I'd think those of you on staff who travel 24 and 26 hours at a time by air
would welcome such a device.
Just another item for the suggestion box.
