Do a reset and it should work properly.

Subject: [Braillenote] defective compact flash cards?

Do such things exist?

I just bought a 512MB Sandisc compact flash memory card for my
BrailleNote,
only to have the BrailleNote say "card not recognized" when I insert it.
I'm new to this sort of hot-swappable memory stuff, but it seems like a
no-brainer. i.e. these things only go in one way, with the ridge down!

So, has anybody ever heard of defective cards?
I'm skeptical, as there are no moving parts with these things, but I'd
rather go back to the store and exchange it, than have to send my
BrailleNote off for service.
It's already been serviced twice in two years for a Braille display
problem. *sigh*

If I was really brave, I'd somehow get access to the slot in back to
check
for bent pins. Naw, maybe I'd better not go there...

Chris
