Susan,

Sounds to me like your cable provider is going to provide a router for you. If this is the case, you shouldn't need anything else to connect your BN to the network.

Subject: [Braillenote] Never ending wireless

Hi,

I've been following this discussion with interest. I ordered the ambicom
card from Amazon and it arrived yesterday. So far that's the only part of
the connection to anything wireless I have. Next week the cable company is coming to install high speed cable. Since I don't have a cable outlet near the computer, they have a wireless thing, (not sure if this is a router, or
a network) Up to 5 computers can connect to this via wireless. Is there
anything else I need to get my BN connected to the internet or to my
computer? Any hints from comcast users would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sue Mangis

Ps. The first test is getting into the plastic for the card.
