Exhaustive testing on my own unit (Okay, I tried it twice) says the
answer to your question is yes.

Subject: [Braillenote] mixed group searching revisited

I have not seen any reply to this so one more time please.

Does the newer version 5.0 plus of Keysoft allow you to search for mixed
groups in text braille or word files? Is there a way to do it in
older versions as well?

example
TCP/IP in a Braille file......

I am attempting to create a better verbalization for this when using
speech in the pronunciation dictionary.

      thank you!
