The easiest way to erase an old backup is to hook a card reader up to your
PC, put the card into the reader, and use the PC to kill it. From what I
understand, because there are so many protected files and directories and
sub-directories and stuff on the BN/VN backup, it's next to impossible to
get rid of it with the BN/VN, unless you have a lot of time and patience
and are willing to spend the rest of your life unprotecting protected files
in every single directory and sub-directory. <smile> I wish there was an
option that said, "unprotect all files and erase backup? Yes or no" to
which we could just answer yes.

I ghave no trouble backing up files to the compact flash using the back up
and restore feature with the utilities menu. The problem comes when I
want to erase a backup. I can't figure out how to erase a backup folder
using the vn. I'm sure there has to be a way to do this with the
vnqt? Can someone tell me how to erase a backup after I've backed up my
flash disk on to the compact flash card?
