Hi, Beth:

The translation issue I brought up was the bug (which I think was explained
awhile back on list, to give some reference) wherein switching to computer
Braille in an email to insert something must be done in a very precise manner.
If not, the spaces or new line markers (in older versions) surrounding the
computer Braille will be stripped from the message. The stripping of new line
markers has apparently been fixed in 5.0, but the spacing predicament has not.

To be on the safe side, if you wish to insert an email address, URL, or other
string of computer Braille and are running an earlier version of keysoft than
5.0, change to computer Braille, then hit the new line marker, type the string
of computer braille, change BACK to grade 2, hit a new line marker, and
continue writing your message. You must change computer grades before hitting
the new line marker, or they will be stripped.

Even if you are running ks 5.1, I would still use this method, as you will not
run into the problem with the spaces surrounding your email disappearing. HTH,
Laura
