Hello again Sherri and list,
The setting I was referring to is the message time setting. This keeps a
prompt on the braille display longer before the display changes to
something else. AC adapter on message might be one example where it would
be seen longer if one were to set that option to ten seconds let's say. I
then went to the other various menus but the display responded normally so
that isn't a setting to be concerned about I guess. I'd leave it at zero
for me. The only other thing one might do is exercise the braille display
regularly and see if you don't see improvement in its action.

Hello Sherri and list,
It seems to me there is a setting in the braille display settings which
governs how quickly the braille display responds to commands. I think the
quickest setting is the default which is zero. I'm not able to get to my
BN at the time of this writing so haven't checked it out. When I do so,
I'll be back. Go to options menu, select braille display, look at the
various options under braille display. If you find that setting,
experiment with it and maybe that is the source of your difficulty.
