Anne: Sorry for my return here, but your response to Terry was kind of sarcastic and really seems to go against the mission and responsibilities of this list. We should be welcoming newbies and offering support and assistance not sending them to the manuals. For many, the manual can be kind of daunting and sometimes a personal approach from experienced users can be more helpful. Aside from providing each other with the latest tricks and tips, we are here to help the new users get started getting the most out of these wonderful machines. Perhaps your response was meant "Tongue in cheek" or as I have done many times, it was sent in haste. However, please remember that not all of those who write into this list have a personal trainer or maybe they just need a little extra boost in certain areas.
Terry, please feel free to keep emailing this list with your questions. I have been an adaptive trainer for several years and would be more than happy to answer your questions on or off list. There are many other experienced users on this list as well who, I'm sure, would be more than happy to help. To the list, I apologize most sincerely for this apparent flame. But, I, once was a newbie as well, and got much help from many people here. If my response was too strong, please feel free to flame me OFF LIST and I will be happy to accept constructive criticism.
