Yes Peggy we are waiting for the upgrade and then we can use the note takers with DSL.
Until then we are using dial up.
We are told a card will come to you when you upgrade.
Even better that, you won't have to plug into anything.
Just like my computer here isn't hooked up to any phone modem.
I am on a wireless card.

Jims computer has the modem.

Subject: [Braillenote] BrailleNote and DSL

Hi, guys. I just upgraded my Internet service from dial-up to DSL, and I'd like to get the BN in on the action. Should I wait until 6.1 comes out to get what I need, or can I buy stuff to let me use the BN with DSL that I can still use after the upgrade to 6.1? And then the most important question: What exactly do I need to buy, and what brands? I have the message about recommended wireless cards once we get the upgrade, but what about before then? Comments? <smile>

Peggy
