Hello Jeff,
Yes, the PK comes with *capabilities* but no modem(s). this means you have 
to decide how you want to connect to the internet. I want to use dialup 
first. then when I am out and about town, i want to use wifi to connect to 
"hot spots" such as the restaurant that I may be having dinner at. this 
will permit me to read the menu for myself.
