Lindsay,
when I first bought a braillenote sometime last year, I had no idea about
all these sma's and upgrades. I bought one of the old motherboards and I
had version 4.01 or something like that. I called and asked how much it
would cost to upgrade to six point ho. i was told it was four hundred. but
then they went in to this long explanation about how I had to buy 5.0
first. then when they discovered I didn't have the latest motherboard i
was told that would be twelve hundred bucks more! well, I didn't want to
sink that kind of money in to this thing. I don't want to do that today
either. I have a braillenote PK and I'd love to sell my old machine.
I hope this clears it up for you some.
