Hi Everyone, Last Thursday March 31 my email suddenly qui!. I couldn't send email, receive, or browse the Web. I called my service provider and they came to my residence and checked things out with the router and everything was fine from their end of things. I use the Etheernet card that slides into the back slot on my BN and that card is hooked up to this router contraption. Once I get Keysoft 6.11 currently I have 5.1 I'll be able to use the wireless service I've been paying for for about a year but I'm happy with the high speed connection I have now. The tech support person from the ISP said the promblem might be with my Etheernet card. I ordered a new one and guess what the new card fixed the problem! What an expensive lesson just to get email back! Sure I could have ordered one from some computer store here but it would have taken longer to get my email and Internet access back. I just ordered directly from PDI and had it overnighted (well thre days equals overnight shipping in Guam). I'm still having that error message about the operation has completed successfully when I exit Web pages and return to the main menu.
Just wanted to share another weird but valuable lesson I have learned about using the Braillenote. I guess the lesson is spend the extra money on an Etheneer card when you have the money so when the one you are using goes bad you have an extra. I did talk to Humanware tech support before ordering the new card and they didn't think that was the problem since the BN was still recognizing the card when it was inserted. The ISP tech support person said he had known those cards to fail. I'm not complaining about PDI's tech support. Lisa
