cmd.exe is not DOS, it is just a simple command-line interface to some 
aspects of Windows CE.  I certainly wouldn't mind seeing this made 
accessible, seeing as how it should be pretty straightforward to do and it 
provides quite a decent method of tweeking stuff.

I've no idea what it's like in Windows CE 4.2, but I'll bet you a 
substantial sum (in man hours, of course :) ) that there is a similar 
interface and that it is even more powerful.  Even MS developers can't 
help themselves sometimes when it comes to efficiency of a command-line 
interface.
