I have the PK and have no real problem using it with my Nokia 6620 and Cingular, but I haven't heard much about the other BN family members and Cingular. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peggy Kern" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 24, 2005 3:00 PM Subject: [Braillenote] Keysoft 6.x and Cingular phones
Hi, all. I'm just wondering if those of you who have Cingular as your cell provider and also have Keysoft 6.x have found improvements in your use of the BN with cell phones. I know some of you Cingular users had said the BN didn't work with Cingular, while others had no problem. Just wondering if 6.x has changed this. My husband and I are going to have to make some decisions regarding our cell phone plans soon, so I'm trying to figure out what's available. At present I'm still with the AT&T part of Cingular, but as they get more and more of their stuff merged, I imagine I'll eventually have to get a regular Cingular plan. But I don't want to lose the ability to use my BN with my cell phone if I can help it. I know I could get talking software, and that may be what I have to do; but it'd be a heck of a lot cheaper to just be able to connect to the net with my BN. Thoughts? Comments? Experiences?
