No, you cannot switch between a decimal and fraction mode, like you can on
all FS products. One of the reasons that the "scientific" calculator on this
machine is a joke, pardon my bluntness. Last year for calculus I had to keep
my Braille Lite 2000 in my locker and grab it before my math class (which
thankfully was first period) because of the perfectly pitiful nature of the
calculator on the BN. It couldn't do at least half of the work I required of
it, whereas the BLT's had no problem. I would like to se the calculator
addressed and immensely revised in the very near future. HTH, Laura
