The back slot on my BN acts the same way, the card does fit tight, and does
take a little pulling and wiggling to remove it. However, I have been using it
that way for several months now and my BN is still acting fine in that regard.

Subject: [Braillenote] inserting/removing compact flash cards

I changed the subject line as I inadvertently deleted the original message.
Someone was asking about the difficulty in removing compact flash cards from
the
back slot on the bn.

These cards do fit tightly and can be difficult both to insert but especially
remove. Your braillenote is fine, that's just the way these types of cards
work. I've
used an adaptor and placed them in the pcmcia slot as well, but I've finally
gotten used to using the rear slot.

After you have used it for a while, it does become easier to get cards in and
out of the slot, but it is a tight fit. That is so the cards won't drop out of
the slot
when you're carrying the bn.

The best way I've found to get a tight-fitting card out of the slot is to
wiggle it slightly from side to side while gently pulling it out of the slot.
You should not
damage either the bn or the memory card by doing this.
