I completely agree with Rhonda, that Ethernet card is well worth it. I use it
with my high-speed cable internet, which is similar to DSL. I also have a
wireless network, and I am looking forward very much to using my BN wirelessly,
(is that a word, Grin), but there will still be times when I will need to use
the card I have now. For instance, I am planning to take a trip this summer
and I will be staying in a hotel that doesn't have wireless, but it does have
high-speed internet through a data port. I will only have to plug my card into
an Ethernet cable, and the cable into the data port, and away I go. So even
though I will be switching to a wireless card as soon as I can, I won't be
giving up my "ruggedized" Ethernet card. I got mine for $80 at

www.pagecomputers.com

I just typed the model number from the manual into the edit box and found the
right card with no problem.

Hi Peggy:
I am glad I have my ethernet card. Even if you go wireless, those cards
won't be that much. Most companies won't let you have dial up and DSL too. At
least, Consolidated, which is my ISP won't. If I were to use dial up, they
would charge me another $14 per month. I think it's a good thing, though
probably most people would say to wait.
