One of the newer, less expensive inkjet printers that works is the Epson Stylus C86. It has both a USB and parallel port so it can be connected to the computer through the USB port and simultaneously connected to the BrailleNote through the parallel port. The printer is $99 and comes with a $20 rebate from ecost, Staples or Office Max and probably other places as well. Here are the links to the 3 places I mentioned. http://www.ecost.com/ecost/ecprint/shop/detail.asp?dpno=293111
