Rosemary, I'm catching up with mail, so I apologise if your problem has
been solved in the meantime, but to get out of one-handed mode, hold the
enter key down while you switch on the machine, not only after you have
switched it on.

Subject: [Braillenote] one-handed mode

Hi, My Braille-Note PK is stuck in one-handed mode. I've tried resetting
it and following the instructions given, which are to press enter
immediately after turning the PK on. Neither has worked. Before the PK
went into one-handed mode it kept beeping and repeating main menu exit.
If I put the BNPK to sleep, which I can't remember the command for,
would that work? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, to synchronize the PC with the BNPK, do you need to use MS-WORD?
If so, I'll have to purchase a copy because it didn't come with my PC
when I bought it in January. Only Pocket Word was provided.
Thanks.
Rosemary
