Subject: [Braillenote] trouble with receiving mail on earthlink dial up
withbraille note running keysoft4.01 and the new mother board

Hi I'm helping a friend here with her braille note.
We configured the pop server address to pop.earthlink.net, and the smtp address
to smtpauth.earthlink.net, as was instructed by earthlink to configure it that
way, and still no go, we also additionally put in her service user name as
[EMAIL PROTECTED], and email user name being the same thing and still no go,
now, it disconnects her from the net when she tries getting on so we
alternatively changed it back to just the service user name, as being just a
plain user name and the email user name being [EMAIL PROTECTED]
And even though, I realize it was for sending, I instructed her to enable smtp
authentication, just to see what would happen but still no go.
Any help with this would be appreciated, as I know that earthlink is useable
with the braille note.
And also, btw, she can send using the email server, but not receive.
Thank you
