hello Diane, A reset with dots 123/fds will return you to the version of KeySoft in ROM, that is the version burnt into your BrailleNote. It does not run off the flash disk.
A reset with dots 456/jkl will set the registry to default values and set the KeySoft system disk to the default state. This is what you would term, a hard reset. From the INTERNET OPTIONS menu, I have deleted cookies and temporary internet files and cleared history. Then I did a regular reset with no success. If I need to do a hard reset, I need to know which one to use and why it will work. I don't understand the differences between the two. As always, mega thanks in advance for your helpful input! > > > Diane Kelker, Actress, Coach, Former Child > > > ___ > To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit > http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote >
