hello Diane,

A reset with dots 123/fds will return you to the version of KeySoft in ROM,
that is the version burnt into your BrailleNote. It does not run off the
flash disk.

A reset with dots 456/jkl will set the registry to default values and set
the KeySoft system disk to the default state. This is what you would term,
a hard reset.

Subject: [Braillenote] CAN'T GO TO TELECLASS

> Hello,
>
> Using my VN, I can no longer access the link:
>
> www.teleclass.com
>
> When I attempt to reach it from MY FAVORITES folder and check the loading
status using the HELP key, the message says that the download is 100%
complete, but the signal continues beeping, and the welcome message is never
spoken. From the INTERNET OPTIONS menu, I have deleted cookies and
temporary internet files and cleared history. Then I did a regular reset
with no success. If I need to do a hard reset, I need to know which one
to use and why it will work. I don't understand the differences between the
two. As always, mega thanks in advance for your helpful input!
