Hello Terry,

If one were a novice braille reader, one might begin to improve his or her braille skills by starting to read in grade one or computer braille so when they are ready to learn grade two, they will be somewhat practiced in the reading of braille at a beginning level.

My question is this: why would a person want to read in grade 1 braille?
Just turn on the speech and you can hear grade 2 braille spoken.
