i'd like to jump in here a s a new user of these Compact Flash cards. I've had the slot on my BN BT 18 since I paid to upgrade the board since it was going in for repair because of a bad flash disk. I just upgraded to the 6.1 that came on a Compact Flash card in the mail. I used to use a compact flash card given to me by my Uncle for backing up my BN.

i guess i say all this to say one major question. Is there a certain Compact Flash card that the BN BT is required to use? YOu know the drill. I don't want to break the BN the first time I try to back it up, or read the Bible off a Compact Flash card.

Can anyone help a confused person?

Hi Mike, no there is not a driver for the Sandisk combo card compatible
with the hardware on which the VoiceNote runs. However there are other
cards that work fine, and with the BrailleNote you have the extra slot so
it's less of an issue.
