Hi Sharon!
I have both a Braille Note 32 and a Pk. The 32 is a qwerty keyboard so it was somethingnew to learn all the Braille keystrokes. I did notfind it hard as I hadstarted this computer revolution with a Braille Lite 18 some ten years ago so it was easy to kind of float back into the Braille Mode after having used a qwerty keyboard and typed for some 3 years. The battery on the pk is quite economical. I haven't used any flash cards with it yet as I have only had it for 2 weeks but it seems to be quite easy on the battery thus far.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] Hello,

Hi,

My name is Sharon Bowell and I am new to this list.

I am thinking, or rather hoping, to get a braillenote PK.
I have seen a demo of one and was very impressed.

I just wondered how some of you experienced users out there find them. Are they as good as the demo seemed to be. Are they reliable, and do they have
a good battery life.

Also, are they very hard to learn.

Thanks in advance.

Sharon
