Hi Brian,

First, you need your list password. If you haven't got it, send a message
-

To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: password

Once you have your password, turn off delivery of mail as follows:

To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: set authenticate YourPassword
Message body (one line only): set delivery off

(where YourPassword is, obviously, your password as received, or as set by
you when you subscribed.)

To return to receiving mail, repeat as above for disabling delivery, but
substitute "off" for, you guessed it, "on".

For information on using the email interface, send a message -

To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: help

Or, to learn about using the set command specifically -

To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: set help

You will need your password for any administration task on your account.
If you did not supply it when you subscribed to the list, either using the
webform or your email address via email, your password is automatically
generated as a random string. By default, you normally receive reminders
once every month, listing your current list password, as well as other
administrivia - this can be disabled, if desired.

Cheers,
Sabahattin
