When I flew to New York about a year and a half ago, I told them my notetaker was more like a palm pilot! They didn't waste any time with me and the notetaker so it came on the plane with my carry on bags.

Hello All:

I know it's an age-old topic but I don't come into this list very often and
I apologize in advance for "cluttering" but this is an important topic as
wever.

It was a truly a big, big hassle getting my Braille Note through the
security last week when flying out of town. I have to fly again for the
next three weekends. Whew!

When I flew out of here, I took my BN out of my backpack and told them it
was like a laptop. gosh they spent so many minutes examining it that I
almost missed my plane! On my way back, I decided to keep mum....but they
"caught" it and spent a lot of time examining it. Once they asked me to
turn it on and to turn the voice on!

Is there an easier way to handle this other than to stash it into my
suitcase which I'd not want to do so. I like to read on the plane soo.

Many thanks for all your help in advance!

Jeff
