You are correct, plug the card reader into a usb port, and then remember
which one you used as it will need to be kept in the same usb port.
Then you will get the new "drives" listed in your drive lists. These
will come up as "removable" or one may have the title of the brand,
this will depend on which one you bought. You may need to install
software that comes with the card, however, unless you plan to set up a
picture album, this should be unlikely.

As for the card, the card will fit into the back slot of your Braille
note correctly with the edge that is raised facing down and away from
you. You will place it edge down into the reader also.

Subject: [Braillenote] flash card and reader

Hi all:
I bought myself a flash card reader and a card for Christmas. So, would
someone be willing to explain to me on or off list how this works.
1 I've got the card but am not sure which side is up or front.
2 I was under the impression that I just had to plug the reader into the
usb
port and that windows would recognize it, yes I know I'm naive. A cd rom

came with the reader which I wasn't aware of when I bought it. can
anyone
tell me the basics of propper set up.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Tessa
