Hi Dianne, Believe me, you don't need to apologize to me or explain your questions to me or anyone. The important thing is that everything got straightened out and you got the link to work. (Which, BTW, did you?) I know it is hard sometimes to tell a person's tone from the written word, but most often when I'm writing to this list I'm in the process of being late for somewhere else (lol) so I write very quickly and send. That's why my messages may sound abrupt or unfriendly. Really, I don't mind helping anyone at all, especially people who make an effort to learn. Don't ever worry about it Dianne... Ask away!
Hope you got that link working, Laura ----- Original Message ----- From: "Diane Kelker" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, October 23, 2004 8:25 PM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] HAVEN'T A CLUE! > Hi, Laura, > > When I joined this list, I mentioned that I had two slight strokes earlier in the year. Sometimes when I'm working, I unknowingly confuse words in my head. This is exactly what happened here. I was attempting to copy the block into the address bar when I should have been pasting. In the future, if I ask questions which seem repetitive and mindless, I simply need to be reminded of the correct command sequences and told that I may be switching or misinterpreting words and meanings. Thanks so much for everyone's patience and wisdom! > > > Gratefully, > Diane Kelker >
