Interestingly, my BNQT totally died recently and when i did a reset, i ended up losing everything that i had on it and it reverted to something different. i had had one upgrade done on it and have only had it for 2 years this month. this is the first real problem i have had with it. now that the reset is done, it seems to be working okay, but i have to go through some extra steps to do somethings.

Subject: [Braillenote] Braille Notes:

What is going on with these machines anyway? Are they only supposed to last a couple of years? Sheesh I think this is about the seventh or eighth machine which has gone out in the last 6 or so weeks? I keep saying no more products in this household with Braille Displays. Too many moving parts. I remember your competitor or someone who used to work for them telling me that there is a part in these Braille Displays which simply causes these machines to quit. But, Man oh man! It will be interesting to see how long the new Braille Display holds up.
