This happens with word files in 5.1 and it is a mystery to many of us. If the documents are still on your computer, resave them as a txt file and try again. Hopefully, opening the text files will give you access on the BN.

When I try to open a Word document I go through the usual steps and when it asks if I want to review the options I say "NO", and get the following error message: "The handle is invalid. Exception converter. Access violation writing 2544640." I then hit an E chord to exit and when I try to open the file again I get this second error message: "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." This is happening with many documents I have transfered from my home computer to a compact flash card via a card reader connected to my desktop. I am using a BN-32 running Keysoft 5.1. I have tried resetting my BN, by a regular reset and also by holding down the 1,2,3 keys. The word files are over 200K and bigger. Should this matter? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
