Rhonda, Yes, you can connect your Braillenote to a PC. You do this with either the cable that came with your Braillenote, or the imfrared (IR) port. Onece connected, your options are to either use the BN as a remote speech synthesizer or connect the BN to synchronize and transfer files between the two machines. You will need a screen reader on the pc, at least to use the BN as a remote synthesizer. Some screen reader companies have free timed demos of their screen reader. You can get started with a talking PC right away, while you decide what screen reader you would eventually want on your PC connected to your BN. The synchronize option will require Active Synch.
