For some reason transferring a Word document even if it is Word 97/2000 won't convert. That was going to be my next question. I can convert a file once it is on the BN from text to Word. I was under the impression that the BN would accept Microsoft Word files if the document was Word 97/2000. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue Mangis" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, November 25, 2004 11:08 AM Subject: [Braillenote] copying files beatween the computer and BN
> Happy Thanksgiving, > Yesterday I had my Braille Note hooked up to the computer to transfer a file from the Kurzweil and it worked great. Then I decided to move a file saved as a word document to the Braille Note by copying and pasting. Well, it couldn't convert it to the pocket format. I don't remember the exact error message. So I decided to put the document on a card in the card reader. That worked, and when I put the card in the BN I could open the file with the book reader. Any way do you have ideas as to why it couldn't convert the document?
