Hi Josh,

Your card reader supports the new USB standard, version 2.0, which
supports bus speeds of up to a theoretical (very, very theoretical, I
hasten to add) 480 MBpS. Before you charge out to buy a new USB 2.0
bboard or a new computer or upgrade your motherboard, check if your
computer supports the standard. Sometimes, stock installations of the
operating system on computers do not come with USB 2.0 drivers installed,
but they may be available for your motherboard or USB controller. BIOS
firmware or the BIOS configuration might be possible to alter or upgrade
so that USB 2.0 is enabled - this will be the case on all computers bought
within the last six months or so, possibly a bit longer.

If you find that USB 2.0 isn't available, you can, as suggested before,
buy a USB 2.0 controller as an expansion board which a sighted individual
(or perhaps yourself, depending on your expertees) can help you to install
into your computer. You may instead simply upgrade your entire
motherboard, the newest of which have USB 2.0 built into them, or else buy
a new machine.

Cheers,
Sabahattin
